EVENT | DISCOVERING HANNAH LORIMER

There's still a few days left to sign up for what promises to be a fascinating conversation about artist Hannah Lorimer (1854-1947). Lorimer was the elder sister of genre and portrait painter John Henry Lorimer (1856-1936) and was an accomplished artist in her own right, producing works in sculpture, painting and embroidery.

The talk will be lead by Curator Charlotte Lorimer, and Nicola Law of the University of St Andrews, who will discuss her life and work. The event is free but booking is essential, which you can do via this link.

Discovering Hannah Lorimer is hosted online by the Lorimer Society, and begins at 7pm on Monday 29th November.
