Scottish Art News have published their Joan Eardley (1921-1963) special in honour of her centenary year and we are very excited to see contributions from a number of our members in the edition.
Articles by Jan Patience, Jenny Brownrigg, Alice Strang, and Victoria Irvine each provide a fascinating perspective on different facets of Eardley's career and the Eardley 100 celebrations.
We're glad to see women artists feature so prominently in this edition as there also articles about Phoebe Anna Traquair (1852-1936) by Elizabeth Cumming, and Agnes Miller Parker (1895-1980) by Emily Walsh.
Scottish Art News is published by The Fleming-Wyfold Art Foundation which aims to foster the understanding and appreciation of Scottish art through a programme of exhibitions, events, publishing, and education. Find out more about the collection itself here and you can pick up your copy of Scottish Art News in most galleries and museums.
