Prof. Alison Yarrington (Hon Prof. Research Fellow), Prof. Clare Willsdon, and doctoral students Jenny McLeod and Mattea Gernentz from History of Art represented the SWARN at the Scottish Parliament's International Women's Day event on 7th March, as guests of the First Minister's National Advisory Council on Women and Girls (NACWG, https://www.generationequal.scot/).

Our invitation to the International Women's Day event followed SWARN's recognition by the NACWG in 2021. Featuring a panel of speakers from NACWG, the Young Women's Movement, the Scottish Youth Parliament, and Elect Her, the event was held at the Scottish Parliament, and chaired by its Presiding Officer the Right Honourable Alison Johnson MSP.
