To mark the publication of TWO new books on Wilhelmina Barns-Graham, the Wilhelmina Barns Graham Trust are celebrating with a talk by the book's contributors, art historian, Alice Strang, glaciologist, Professor Pete Nienow, and filmmaker, Mark Cousins.
Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: The Glaciers consists of texts by Rob Airey who is Director of the Wilhelmina Barns-Graham Trust (WBGT), the author Holly Corfield Carr, the film-maker Mark Cousins, the poet Alyson Hallett, Tilly Heydon of the WBGT, the art historian Martin Kemp, the glaciologist Peter Nienow and Cassia Pennington of the WBGT, as well as Alice Strang's essay titled ‘Into the Vortex: The Glacier in Wilhelmina Barns-Graham’s Work’.

A second event will be held to celebrate the publication of the second book Wilhelmina Barns-Graham: An Introduction to Her Life with Activities. This children's book will be a wonderful introduction to Barns-Graham's work and marked with a lovely afternoon of tea and activities. Try out some of the Barns-Graham inspired art activities from the book with the authors Kate Temple and Annabel Wright.
This is a drop-in event suitable for both adults and children.
